Need Help Finding Parts for Super Comanche .45/.410

I’ve recently acquired a Super Comanche .45/.410, and while I love the versatility of being able to shoot both calibers, I’ve found it’s not exactly easy to find replacement parts. I’m planning on doing some minor upgrades and maintenance, but I’m hitting roadblocks wherever I turn.

Here’s what I’m looking for:

  • Replacement parts: I need to source parts like firing pins, springs, and maybe a new grip. Does anyone know reliable sellers?
  • Schematic or Manual: If anyone has a digital copy of the owner’s manual or any schematics, that would be incredibly helpful. I’d like to understand the assembly better to tackle some minor repairs myself.
  • User experiences: If you’ve worked on yours, what upgrades do you recommend? Have you changed any parts that made a significant difference?
  • Trigger pull issues: I’ve noticed that the trigger pull is a bit heavier than I expected. Is there a way to adjust this easily or replace components to improve it?

I’d appreciate any input or advice on where to find parts and how to navigate fixing up this dual-caliber beauty. Thanks!

Have you checked out some online retailers? I found a few parts on GunBroker and eBay that were super helpful!

Don’t forget to look at websites that specialize in specialty firearms. They often have parts that aren’t available at bigger retailers.

I had a tough time with parts too, especially the extractor. Check if you need OEM parts or if aftermarket ones will fit. They can make a big difference!

Great point! What brands did you find that offer reliable aftermarket parts?

I’ve sourced a few parts from Numrich Gun Parts. They have a decent selection, especially for those older models.

I’ve had success there as well! Their service is pretty good too, which helps.

Anyone experience issues with the firing pin? I’ve had mine misfire a couple of times.

Yep, that’s a common issue. I replaced mine and it made a huge difference in reliability!

Has anyone built custom parts for theirs? I’ve seen some people doing 3D prints but I’d be wary of the safety.

I can’t imagine 3D printing some of the key components; it feels risky. But I respect the creativity behind it!

Totally agree. Safety first! But what about modifying existing parts?

Modifying can be tricky! I suggest proceeding with caution or consulting with a gunsmith for optimal results and safety.

Agreed! It might cost a bit, but better safe than sorry.

I’ll probably just stick to the stock parts for now, but any recommendations on good upgrades in the future would be great!

I have had a great experience with OEM parts for the Super Comanche. They fit perfectly and have proven reliability over time.

While OEM is often great, some aftermarket parts can offer better performance enhancements, depending on what you’re looking for.

I’ve heard that certain aftermarket manufacturers like ‘Tactical Innovations’ make high-quality parts. Has anyone tried them?

I’ve used ‘Tactical Innovations’ for a few mods. They were good, but it depends on what specific parts you’re looking for.
