Honestly, it competes well! I’ve tried the Ruger PC Carbine too, but for the price, I think the Hi-Point offers better value if you’re not too picky about aesthetics.

It did require a mounting bracket, but it’s easy to install. Just make sure to get the right one for the Hi-Point carbine.

Maintenance is vital, but don’t stress too much. It’s a reliable platform. I’ve never had major issues once I got the hang of the basics!
