Thoughts on Morrell High Roller Archery Target? Looking for Reviews!

I’m on the hunt for a solid archery target, and the Morrell High Roller has caught my attention. I’ve heard it can handle a variety of arrow types, which is a plus for me since I shoot both carbon and aluminum arrows.

Here’s what I’m curious about:

  • Durability: How does it hold up against high-speed shooting?
  • Performance: Can it really stop bigger game broadheads effectively without tearing apart too quickly?
  • Ease of Use: Is it easy to pull arrows out, or does it tend to grip them tightly?
  • Portability: Is it lightweight enough to transport easily, or is it more of a stationary setup?

I’d love to hear from anyone who has experience with this target. How does it compare with other targets you’ve used? Any personal insights or tips would be greatly appreciated! Let’s help each other make informed decisions for our shooting practice.

I’ve been using the Morrell High Roller target for over a year now, and I’m impressed with the quality. The weather-resistant materials seem to be holding strong even after being exposed to rain and sun.

I’ve had a similar experience! The target has maintained its shape, and I haven’t seen much wear despite regular use. Definitely built to last!

The high-density foam really makes a difference. I’ve had other targets that frayed quickly, but this one has great longevity. Plus, it’s nice that it’s easy to pull arrows out!

It is a bit hefty, but I see it as a plus for stability. Just set it up once and leave it there!

I love that it can withstand various weather conditions. I’ve left mine out for weeks, and it’s still looking great. Has anyone tested it in extreme weather?

I shot in a snowstorm last winter, and it held up surprisingly well! No visible damage and no degradation.

I’ve had it for two seasons, but I do bring mine inside during the colder months. Just a precaution, I guess!

That’s a smart move, spencer10! I usually leave mine outside. I guess I’m just a bit lazy when it comes to moving it.

The construction is top-notch. But, I think some users could be overly critical if they don’t care for their targets properly. It’s not magic, after all!

Haha! True, but some folks expect their targets to last a lifetime without care. Still, mine has held up well despite some rough treatment!

I also noticed that the Morrell target absorbs impacts well, which helps with durability. My last target didn’t do as well at this.

Overall, I think the Morrell High Roller is worth the investment. It’s been reliable for my backyard practice. Anyone plan on trying it out soon?

I’m considering it for my range! These reviews are really encouraging. Inquiring minds want to know!

Funny you mention durability, I’ve been through two other brands before sticking with Morrell. They’ve outlasted the others by far!

Definitely seeing a consensus here about its durability. This might just be the target I need for my frequent shooting sessions!

I’m really impressed with the Morrell High Roller Archery Target. The design allows for easy arrow retrieval and surprisingly, I rarely experience any arrows sticking. It’s quite sturdy too!

That’s great to hear, Susan! I noticed that moving the target isn’t a hassle at all, which is a big plus for me. I like to switch up my shooting spots often!

I’ve found that some arrows do stick, but not enough to be a deal-breaker. Generally, it’s pretty easy on my arrows when I pull them out, which is nice. The durability seems good overall!
