I’ve been eyeing the Smith & Wesson 3913 lately and would love some input from anyone who has experience with it. Here’s what I’m curious about:
Overall Impressions

How does it perform at the range? Any notable accuracy or reliability issues?
I’d particularly like to hear about how it handles with various types of ammunition.
Comparisons
How does the 3913 compare with other compact 9mm options, like the Glock 19 or Sig P239?
Are there specific features that stand out?

For those who carry, how does it conceal? Is it easy to find good holsters for?
Any tips for making it comfortable for daily carry?
Maintenance and Care
Any maintenance tips or common issues I should know about?
What about aftermarket parts? Are there upgrades worth considering?
Purchase Options
Is there a good place where I can find one, either locally or online? What’s a reasonable price?
I appreciate any feedback you can share. Thanks in advance for your insights!
I’ve owned a Smith & Wesson 3913 for over 5 years, and it has proven to be incredibly reliable. I’ve taken it out in various weather conditions, and it always performs without fail.
That’s great to hear, Debbie! I’ve also had a positive experience with mine in terms of accuracy. It feels more precise than my other handguns!

I’ve used the 3913 mainly for target shooting, and I appreciate how well it groups shots. However, I’ve had a couple of hiccups with the magazine feed after extensive use.
That sounds frustrating. Have you done any maintenance on the magazines? Sometimes that can help resolve feed issues!
I’ve just started using a 3913 this past summer. Overall, I find it fun to shoot! It does well in terms of recoil and is comfortable in hand. Anyone else feel the same?

I find it fun to shoot!
Absolutely, Timothy! It’s a solid choice for both beginners and seasoned shooters. I feel it’s very forgiving on the range.
My 3913 has held up well over time, but I’ve noticed that cleaning it frequently helps keep performance consistent. Honestly, it’s quite easy to maintain.
I completely agree! Regular maintenance can make all the difference. It’s worth the effort for such a reliable gun!
Does anyone have issues with holster compatibility? I find some holsters make it difficult to draw smoothly, which can be annoying!

I can relate to that! I’ve had to try several holsters before I found one that works well. It can definitely affect your experience while carrying.

I call my 3913 ‘the little engine that could’! It’s a fantastic backup gun that never lets me down, even after a grueling day at the range. Who else has a nickname for their firearm?

That’s good to hear, Joseph! I remember my first time shooting it, and it felt very intuitive even for me.

I’ve always enjoyed the 3913’s slimmer profile. It makes it easier to conceal, while still feeling robust. Anyone agree?

Absolutely! The size is perfect for conceal carry, but the grip could be a bit thicker for those with larger hands.

I’m curious about how it performs in rapid fire. Does the recoil manage well?
From my experience, the recoil is manageable. A light shooter might feel a bit, but it’s generally comfortable.
