Looking for the Best Holster for Sig Sauer P320 Spectre Comp

Getting Feedback on Holster Options

I’m on the hunt for a holster that perfectly fits my Sig Sauer P320 Spectre Comp. This firearm has some unique features, especially with its compatibility for optics and various accessories, making it a bit tricky to find the right holster. I’m reaching out to the community to get your thoughts and recommendations.

Key Features to Consider:

  • Optics Compatibility: I want a holster that accommodates red dot sights without issues.
  • Durability: Given that I plan on using it for duty and competition shooting, a durable option is a must.
  • Concealment: If anyone has suggestions, I’d love to know about holsters that offer good concealment while still being functional for quick draws.

Specific Questions:

  1. Appendix Carry vs. OWB: What styles do you prefer and why?
  2. Brand Recommendations: Are there specific brands that you trust for this gun model?
  3. User Experiences: Any specific models that have worked well or, conversely, those that have not?

I’m looking for something comfortable that won’t compromise my draw. If you’ve had success with a particular model or brand, please share your thoughts!

Thanks in advance for your insights! I’m eager to hear what you all have to say about your experiences.

I’m also looking for a good holster for my P320 Spectre Comp! I’ve heard that kydex holsters offer great retention and are very durable. Anyone have experiences with them?

I’ve been using a kydex holster for several months now. It’s been excellent for my P320, especially in different weather. It holds up really well against moisture.

I prefer leather holsters for their comfort and classic look. However, they can wear faster than kydex. Is anyone else feeling the same?

I agree! Leather has a nice feel, but I’ve noticed that it can start showing wear much quicker if you sweat a lot.

Does anyone have experience with hybrid holsters? I’m curious how well they balance comfort and durability.

I have a hybrid holster for my P320, and I think it’s the best of both worlds! The soft backing is super comfortable, and the kydex shell gives great retention.

What’s the price range for these holsters? I really want one that lasts but don’t want to break the bank.

I’ve had my leather holster for a couple of years now, and it still looks good! Just need to maintain it with some leather conditioner.

Kydex holsters are usually around $50 to $80, while leather can range much higher, sometimes over $100. You might find some decent hybrid options in the $70 to $90 range.

That’s a solid tip, but I’m too lazy for maintenance sometimes! Kydex seems like a no-brainer for no fuss.

What about wear in colder climates? Anyone noticed any problems with kydex or leather in colder weather?

I live in a colder area, and my kydex holster has been fine in the winter. Leather, on the other hand, takes a long time to break in, which can be tough when it’s cold.

Does anyone think that some options are overpriced? I saw some retailers charging an arm and a leg for what looks like low-quality materials.

Definitely! I’ve seen some brands that hype up their products but don’t hold up as well. Always check reviews!

I find myself reflecting on my holster choices too—quality truly matters for long-term use. Anyone else feel that pressure when choosing?

I’ve been using the Safariland 7378 for my P320 Spectre Comp, and it’s incredibly comfortable. The fit is snug without being restrictive, which is great for extended wear.

That’s awesome to hear! I’m considering this holster too. How’s the retention on it?

Retention is solid! The auto-lock system ensures my gun stays secure. It’s easy to draw when needed, even under pressure.

I recently switched to a Alien Gear Cloak Tuck holster for my P320 and love how it conforms to my body. It’s super comfortable for all-day carry.
