Looking for the Best Glock 19 Gen 3 MOS Slide Recommendations!

Seeking Advice on the Best Glock 19 Gen 3 MOS Slides

I’m diving into some customization for my Glock 19 Gen 3 MOS and am particularly interested in upgrading the slide. I’ve been browsing various options, but the sheer number of aftermarket slides can be overwhelming. If anyone in this community has experience with different models, I’d love to get your input!

What to Consider?

  • Build Quality: Are there specific brands that stand out for their durability and precision?
  • Compatibility: What should I look out for in terms of fitting aftermarket slides onto the Gen 3 MOS?
  • Performance: How do different slides affect accuracy and reliability? Any noticeable improvements with certain brands?

Popular Options I’ve Seen

I’ve come across a few recommendations on different forums, including:

  • ZEV Technologies: Known for their high-end slides. Anyone used these?
  • Agency Arms: Heard they have some great designs. Are they worth the investment?
  • Trijicon RMR Cuts: For those using red dot sights, how’s the integration?

It would be awesome if you could share your experiences, especially if you’ve made any modifications or upgrades. Pictures would be a great addition, too! Thanks in advance for your help!

Conclusion

I’m excited to hear your thoughts on what the best options out there are. Let’s discuss what you’ve tried and what has worked best for your setups. Appreciate your input!

I’m looking to enhance my Glock 19 Gen 3 MOS slide performance. I’ve heard it improves both accuracy and comfort when shooting. Anyone had good experiences with specific optics?

Absolutely! I’ve noticed a significant boost in my accuracy since I attached a Vortex Viper. Makes a world of difference!

I recently mounted a Trijicon RMR on mine and the picture is so clear! It helps me focus better, and I feel more comfortable shooting at longer distances.

How are the recoil management and grip with the MOS slide? I’m curious if it makes shooting different weight rounds more comfortable.

I’ve found the MOS setup to handle everything nicely, even with +P rounds. The enhanced slide helps reduce snap.

I’ve tried a couple of different optics, but I think the Sig Romeo 1 is the best match for me. It sits well and feels snug on the MOS.

Does anyone else feel the trigger feels different with the MOS slide? I swear it’s lighter and way more responsive now.

Totally! I thought it was just me. The whole shooting experience feels more refined.

I’ve also read that the MOS slide helps with slide manipulation. Anyone had issues with that or do things feel smoother now?

The slide is way easier to rack. I’m less worried about my grip since it recoils so nicely— a big plus for training.

Is there any downside to installing an optic? I’ve heard it could affect co-witnessing with iron sights, is that true?

Good point, but it’s all about what optic you choose. Some can be co-witnessed easily while others completely block your sights. Do your research before buying!

I just want the optimum combination without breaking the bank. Anyone found budget-friendly optics that perform well with the MOS slide?

Honestly, if you can catch a good sale, the Holosun optics can be pretty reasonable and they perform surprisingly well.

That’s a great choice! I opted for a Holosun 507C, and it’s worked seamlessly. Just be sure to check the mounting plate compatibility!

For those customizing, have you tried different recoil spring assemblies? I found a lighter one has improved my follow-up shots quite a bit.

That’s interesting! I never thought about changing the recoil spring. What brand do you recommend?

I’ve had great results with the Wolf recoil springs. They offer a range of weights for customization that you might find beneficial!
