Looking for Recommendations on P320 M18 Threaded Barrel Options

Seeking Input on P320 M18 Threaded Barrels

Hey everyone,

I’m diving into the world of upgrades for my SIG P320 M18 and I’m particularly interested in threaded barrels. I want to hear from anyone who has experience with these.

What I’m Looking For:

  • Fitment and Compatibility: Are there specific brands or models that fit well with the P320 M18?
  • Specifications: What lengths and thread pitches should I consider for different uses (like suppressors or muzzle devices)?
  • Options for Upgrades: Any suggestions on which barrels provide the best performance?
  • Purchase Recommendations: Where have you found the best deals or options for threaded barrels?

Why I’m Upgrading:

I enjoy shooting at the range and have been experimenting with suppressors lately. I want to ensure that any barrel I choose is compatible and enhances my shooting experience without sacrificing accuracy or reliability.

Performance Feedback:

If you’ve already taken the plunge and upgraded your P320 M18 with a threaded barrel, please share your experiences! Were there significant improvements in handling or performance?

Let’s discuss various options, experiences, and anything else you think would help someone looking to upgrade. Thanks in advance for your feedback!

Key Reminders:

  • Please share any measurements or specs with your recommendations.
  • If you have photos of the setup, that would be great!

I’ve been considering the threaded barrel for my P320 M18 too. From what I’ve read, it can improve accuracy due to the added weight at the front, which helps stabilize the shot. Any first-hand experiences?

I switched to a threaded barrel last year and noticed a marked improvement in recoil management. It felt more controlled, especially during rapid fire!

I’ve been using both versions, and honestly, I can’t tell much difference in accuracy. But the threaded barrel does help with muzzle rise quite a bit, making follow-up shots easier.

That’s good to know! I’ve read mixed reviews about accuracy. Do you feel any extra weight impacts your speed at all?

From my experience, the added weight of the threaded barrel doesn’t slow down my draw at all, and I’ve actually found it helps with stability when aiming. It’s a nice trade-off!

You’ll also find that shooting with a suppressor attached feels quite satisfying! It quiets things down significantly and just adds to the overall experience.

I’ve been eyeing a suppressor too! Does it change your recoil management?

Definitely! With a suppressor, it reduces recoil and protects your hearing, which is a win-win in my book. Just keep in mind you’ll need to consider cleaning more regularly.

Cleaning more? Is it really that much of a difference?

Yes, it definitely can be! The extra parts can trap more carbon and dirt, but it’s manageable with a little upkeep. Just consider it part of the fun!

Funny, but true! It’s like a workout for your cleaning kit! :joy: But for real, the performance boost is worth the extra effort when you get a nice group at the range!

In the end, it sounds like the threaded barrel really enhances the shooting experience overall. I guess it’s time for me to make the investment!

I’ve been using a threaded barrel from ZEV for my P320 M18, and the installation was pretty straightforward. Just make sure to follow the torque specs in the manual.

That’s great to hear! I’ve heard good things about ZEV. How does it pair with your suppressor?

I’ve gone with a Grayguns barrel. Installation was smooth, but I did have some issues with my older suppressor model. It didn’t align perfectly, so double-check your suppressor’s compatibility!

That reminds me! Has anyone tested the factory SIG suppressor with aftermarket barrels? I’m curious about that combo.

I have an aftermarket barrel, and it works perfectly with my factory SIG suppressor. Just ensure that the threading is compatible. It’s been a blast using it!

I’ve been thinking about getting a threaded barrel for some time now. Thanks for sharing your experiences! It’s helpful to know what brands have worked well for you all.

You’re welcome! Definitely worth it if you enjoy shooting suppressed. The difference is noticeable.
