I’m in the market for an Aero Precision LPVO mount and I’m hoping to gather some insights from all of you experienced shooters out there.
What I’m Looking For:
Lightweight & Durable : My setup is for an AR15/AR308 build, so any recommendations on which models strike the right balance would be appreciated.
Performance : How do these mounts hold up in the field? Any notable experiences—good or bad?
Installation Tips : If you have any advice on sighting in or getting the mount on correctly, that would be super helpful.
Questions to Consider:
Have you encountered any issues with your Aero Precision LPVO mounts?
Which model would you choose and why?
Are there alternatives you think are worth considering?
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and experiences. Thanks in advance!

Hey everyone! I’m looking at the Aero Precision LPVO mounts and wondering about their compatibility with different LPVO scopes. Any recommendations?

Any recommendations?
I’ve used the Aero mount with an Vortex Razor, and it fits perfectly. The height is just right for a solid cheek weld!

I agree with christianwright. The Razor is a great match! I’ve also had success with the Primary Arms GLx; it sits well and offers excellent clarity.
What about the Vortex Strike Eagle? I’ve been eyeing it but not sure if it fits well with the Aero mount.
I mounted a Strike Eagle on my Aero Precision with no issues at all. Just make sure to check the rings’ height!
Does anyone know if the Aero mount works with the Lucid HD7? I love that optic but want to ensure compatibility.
I’ve only used it with traditional LPVOs, so I can’t speak on the Lucid. However, the Aero mount is quite flexible, so you might be fine.
Great to know, cookjustin! If I could find one at a good price, I’d give it a shot. But what about durability? Any experiences?
The Aero mounts are robust! I’ve dropped my rifle a couple of times, and it held zero. A solid choice for durability.
That’s good to hear! I need something tough for my next outing.

Anyone had issues with the eye relief? Sometimes I feel like it changes with different setups.

I’ve noticed that too, pwhite. It seems to vary by optic. Adjusting the mount height might help solve that.

Totally agree with you, james47! Plus, always check the specs when buying; it can save you some headache later.

Hey all! On a lighter note, do we really need all these mounts, or is it just an excuse to buy more optics?

Haha! I’m guilty of that. It’s like a never-ending cycle of searching for that perfect combo.
In all seriousness, having the right mount can really enhance your shooting experience. Reflecting on my own setup, I definitely prefer the Aero.
I’ve had great success using loctite on the screws for the Aero Precision LPVO mounts. It really helps to keep everything secure. Just make sure to use the right amount!
That’s a good tip! I would also suggest checking the torque specs. It’s often overlooked but essential for a secure mount.

One common pitfall is misaligning the mount. Always check that it’s level before tightening everything down. A small mistake can throw off your zero.
