I took mine out in the rain, and it performed surprisingly well. The finish really holds up, and the rifle felt stable even when wet. Comfort was still good.

That’s good to know! How about during extended shooting sessions? Is it comfortable?

Very comfortable, even after a few hours! The weight is well balanced, making it easy to handle. I also love the adjustable sights – they help with accuracy over long distances.

That’s reassuring! I’m looking for something easy for my daughter to shoot. Is it manageable for smaller frames?

I think it’s pretty manageable! The size and weight make it accommodating even for smaller shooters. Plus, the lever action is smooth and easy to operate.

Sounds perfect! What do you think about the recoil? Is it manageable for newcomers?

The recoil is quite mild compared to other rifles in the same category. Newcomers usually find it easy to handle, which is a plus for training.

I love hearing that! What did y’all think about the aesthetics? The finish looks great!

It is quite stylish! The stainless steel finish is not only beautiful but also functional against the elements. I wouldn’t change a thing!

Looks like everyone is in agreement! This rifle might just be a keeper for all weather?

I’ve had my Henry .357 All-Weather for a few months now, and I must say, it’s been reliable! I’ve shot a mix of .38 Special and .357 Magnum rounds without any hiccups. Accuracy is outstanding, especially at 50 yards.

I agree! I’ve found that using quality ammunition really makes a difference. The Fiocchi .357 rounds work fantastic for me in terms of both accuracy and reliability.

I’ve had mixed results with cheaper ammo. The Henry seems to favor the more premium brands, or maybe I just had a bad batch? Has anyone else experienced this?

That’s interesting! I’ve had great results with Remington rounds. They shoot smoothly, and I have yet to experience a jam in the field.

Love the humor in this thread — the only jam I’ve had was when I forgot my breakfast! On a serious note, this rifle is super fun to shoot. It’s lightweight and easy to carry, perfect for all-day hunts.

I’ve shot the Henry with both .38 and .357, and while the .357 is more powerful, the .38 is a great choice for accuracy at shorter ranges. The versatility makes it worthwhile.

Exactly! Plus, the All-Weather finish is perfect for those damp hunting trips. I’ve had no rust issues even in the rain.
