Best Speed Loaders for Taurus 605 - What Are Your Recommendations?

I’ve been on the hunt for a reliable speed loader specifically for my Taurus 605 revolver and could use some feedback. Reloading can be a bit slow, especially under pressure, so I’m eager to improve my efficiency at the range and for personal defense.

Questions:

  • What models have you found to work best with the Taurus 605?
  • Are there any brands or specific features that make a big difference?
  • How do they compare in terms of ease of use and durability?

I’ve seen a few options online, but real experiences from users like you would really help me make an informed decision. Also, if you know of any retailers offering good deals, please share! I’m looking for all the insights you can offer to make my reloading quicker and more hassle-free.

I’ve been using the HKS speed loader for my Taurus 605 and it’s been a game changer! Super easy to use and pretty reliable. Definitely recommend it!

The HKS is great, but I had a better experience with the Tuff Products loader. It fits snugly and has a streamlined design that I find easier to handle.

I’ve tried the HKS and the Tuff Products, but nothing works as smoothly as the Safariland speed loader for me. It’s so reliable!

Interesting! I haven’t tried the Safariland. How does it compare with the others in terms of speed?

For me, the biggest factor is ease of use. The Tuff loader fits better for my hands. I appreciate the solid grip it offers while loading.

Totally agree! Comfort is key. By the way, how long have you been using it?

I’ve had the Tuff loader for over a year now! It’s never let me down, and I’ve used it at the range almost every weekend.

I just started using the HKS loader, and I’ve had a few mishaps. It can jam sometimes, which is frustrating, especially under pressure.

That’s unfortunate! I guess not every product works for everyone. Have you considered trying something else?

I’ve tried several loaders, but the reliability of the Tuff loader made it my top pick. No jams, fast loading, and very intuitive!

That’s promising! How does it perform with both .38 and .357 rounds?

The Tuff manager works seamlessly with both types. I’ve never had an issue, and it fits the Taurus 605 perfectly.

I had a buddy who recommended the HKS, and while I liked it initially, I found the Tuff Products was a more comfortable experience for longer sessions.

Sounds like the Tuff is a solid choice for serious shooters. How easy is it to carry?

It fits nicely in my pocket, so I never have an issue carrying it at the range. Plus, it’s lightweight. No hassle at all!

I’ve had my share of loader troubles. I lost one at the range once, and it became a running joke among my friends - now I’m the ‘loader-less’ friend!

That’s hilarious! You should really get a backup loader. Wouldn’t want to keep the title, right?

I’ve been using the HKS speed loader for my Taurus 605. It’s reliable and gets the job done quickly. Plus, it’s fairly affordable at around $20!

The HKS is great, but I found the Bianchi speed loader offers a smoother operation. It’s a bit pricier, though, at around $30. Worth it if you’re looking for something high-quality!
